Points to Remember
In 1940, Joseph T. DiNapoli and Wilfrid Perrin opened an optical shop at 91 State Street in Albany. Although the nation was struggling with the effects of the depression, and watching the events in Europe, Joseph and Wilfrid felt that a business based on quality and value could still thrive. Their philosophy of the finest available materials and personal professional care laid the foundation for over 60 years of service to the Capital District. DiNapoli Opticians carries on today that commitment to be the best. Highlights 1940-- Wilfrid Perrin and Joseph T. DiNapoli open for business as Perrin and DiNapoli. 1946-- G.
